Volkswagen Passat GTE

Sustainable energy

Charging your Passat GTE1 is easier than changing a light bulb: just plug the charging cable into a domestic socket or a public charging station. At home, the lithium-ion battery completes a full charge in approximately 6:15 hours. If you opt for a public charging station or the optional Wallbox, the battery is fully charged in four hours.

The Passat GTE is a plug-in hybrid with an electric motor and a TSI petrol engine. With it, you can start in electric mode (e-model), in silence and without emissions, with only the electric motor. Activate the GTE mode by pressing the corresponding button and combine the power of both engines, the so-called "boost".
The result is a system performance of 218hp with torque of up to 400Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. And, a top speed of up to 225 km/h.

Interior

Inside we see new coatings and colors, a new multi-function steering wheel, with the highlight of the renovation being the reinforced technological content.
The infotainment system is state-of-the-art, MIB3, and the digital instrument cluster is now standard. As before, infotainment continues to be among the easiest to use.
