Renault Captur E-Tech

Sustainable energy

The first, which is selected by default whenever the battery with 9.8 kWh and 400 V is charged, privileges the 100% electric mode and allows us to confirm that the 50 km of autonomy announced in this mode (65 km in urban areas ) are realistic. To give you an idea, on a route with many fast roads, I was able to travel, using only the battery, about 45 km.

Associated with a 1.6 l gasoline engine with 91 hp and 144 Nm are two electric motors. One, the largest, with 67 hp and 205 Nm, serves to move the Captur and the other, smaller, with 34 hp and 50 Nm, works as a starter and energy generator, taking advantage of deceleration and braking.
The end result is 160 hp of maximum combined power that allows the most powerful Renault Captur to accomplish 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1s and reach 173 km/h.

Interior

Inside, the differences are in detail, summing up to the logos and the presence of graphics relating to the hybrid system on the instrument panel (which has a 10.2” screen) and on the infotainment system (whose screen measures 9.3” and is in vertical position).
