Polestar 1

Sustainable energy

The Polestar 1 is a plug-in hybrid. Which is to say that it comes with an internal combustion engine and two plug-in electric ones. The thermal engine is the already known four-cylinder in-line 2.0 Turbo from Volvo, which will exclusively power the front axle. The rear axle will be powered by two electric motors, one per wheel. In total, the Polestar 1 delivers 600 hp and 1000 Nm of torque.

The future of the car must pass, not by its acquisition, but by subscribing to a service. This will be precisely the only way we will be able to access Polestar 1 - a subscription service, lasting two or three years, without deposits and with a single monthly fee.

Polestar models will be ordered online and among the services available in this subscription are the collection and delivery of the vehicle, its maintenance, an assistant via telephone, and even the possibility of using other Polestar or Volvo models. Our smartphone can be used as a key to access the vehicle and we can share the Polestar 1 with others thanks to a “virtual key”.

Interior

The stylish cockpit puts the driver at the center of his own universe, with carefully selected materials, a monochrome color palette and striking pops of colour.
Visual and sensorial harmony
Carbon fiber was used in the bodywork, but also in the interior to give it a distinctive style in harmony with the exterior design. You can find the decorative carbon fiber panels on the dashboard, tunnel console and doors.
