Opel Mokka-E

Sustainable energy

The Opel Mokka has 136 hp and 260 Nm of torque, has a maximum speed limited to 150 km/h to preserve the 50 kWh battery. It has a 100 kW fast charger that allows you to recover 80% of the battery charge in 30 minutes. Under the WLTP protocol, the range is 322 km in normal driving mode. Eco mode offers maximum autonomy. Mokka-e is prepared for all types of recharging, single-phase or three-phase 11 kW, with “WallBox”, fast charging or cable charging from a domestic socket. The battery has an eight-year warranty.

The SUV was chosen to bring the German brand's new design line to the streets, which had been projected on the 2018 GT X prototype. This is synonymous with a radical cut with the predecessor's design (which came to be known as Mokka X after the facelift). The Opel Vizor grille stands out, formed by a panel that incorporates the brand's logo and the headlights, surrounded by a chrome surround. Inside there is a similar presentation, with several interconnected elements, in a concept that the Rüsselsheim brand called Pure Panel. LED lighting is standard at the front and rear. A novelty is the option of matrix LED headlights (composed of 14 lighting elements managed separately)

Interior

Despite sharing the "ingredients" with other models in the group, Opel knew how to create a completely different «menu» for the interior of its Mokka. The driving position is lower than the Peugeot e-2008 and allows us to be well framed with the steering wheel and fit very well in the seats. In front of us, two screens (digital instrument panel and multimedia touchscreen) that appear joined by a curved glass surface that helps them to better integrate into the whole. The design is very satisfactory, as is the assembly quality.
