MG HS

Sustainable energy

The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 16.6 kWh theoretically allows you to travel up to 52 km in electric mode (WLTP). It can be charged in about 4h30 at a maximum of 3.7 kW. The advertised average consumption is 1.9 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are 43 g/km.

The SUV's powertrain consists of a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 162 hp and 250 Nm that operates together with an electric motor of 90 kW/122 hp and 230 Nm. Altogether, the EHS combines 258 hp and 370 Nm, with the torque of the gasoline engine being transmitted through a six-speed automatic transmission and the electric motor operating through an electronic unit with four ratios. Together they form a ten-speed transmission, with power being delivered to the front axle only. However, in order to improve traction, the MG has an electronic differential on the front axle.

Interior

Inside, the EHS features a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 10.1-inch central screen that allows access to digital radio and smartphone integration via Apple Carplay and Android Auto. MG Pilot is the name that brings together the various safety systems on board, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure assistant and camera with 360 degree vision. According to the configurator, it will be possible to choose between the Comfort and Luxury versions, there are four colors available for the exterior (black, white, red and silver) and two interior environments (black and red). The most equipped version has a panoramic glass roof, LED lighting and 18-inch wheels.
