Mercedes-Benz Classe A

Sustainable energy

The electric motor produces a power of 75 kW. In combination with the 1.33 l four-cylinder engine, the system's total output reaches 160 kW (218 hp) and a torque of 450 Nm.
To store the electrical energy, a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 15.6 kWh is used. The vehicle is equipped with a charging socket which is located on the right side body panel. This means that plug-in hybrid compact models can be charged in a 7.4 kW wallbox with alternating current (AC) in 1 hour and 45 minutes, from a state of charge of 10% to 100%. For direct current (DC) charging, the battery can be charged from a 10% state of charge to 80% in about 25 minutes.

A new design? A new era. All A-Class lines follow one direction only: our design philosophy of sensual clarity.
About a whole new way to operate a vehicle. About intuition and about the art of learning something new every day. About the comfort of the A-Class.
Let's talk about trust. Modern safety systems make the A-Class your attentive companion. In an emergency, it can react automatically and relieve the driver considerably.
Clear language. The advanced technology of the new engines results in increased power and better efficiency. A key reason for this is the combination of state-of-the-art technology elements and varied individual measurements in detail. It's so easy to experience the A 250 e: the first plug-in hybrid in the A-Class Saloon.

Interior

The interior of the A-Class literally envelops the occupants. The transitions between the instrument panel, center console and door trims are fluid and create the pleasing "Wrap-around" design. This is an aspect of this segment that is as exclusive as the selection of decorative elements and ambient lighting that enhances the interior.
