Ford Mondeo

Sustainable energy

The Mondeo Hybrid is equipped with a system comprising a 2.0 liter Atkinson aspirated petrol engine, a battery with a capacity of 1.4 kWh and an electric motor. The combined power is 190 hp.

The 2.0-litre EcoBlue four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that remains is offered in power levels of 150 hp and 190 hp in combination with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

Ford will restructure the Mondeo range, and the blue oval brand's D segment will only have a hybrid and Diesel option in the range. Gasoline engines will be discontinued as they no longer meet emissions standards.

Thus, the 1.5 EcoBoost turbo gasoline engine will no longer be available in the Mondeo because it no longer meets European emissions, as well as the 2.0 EcoBoost block.

This Ford model will continue to be offered in gasoline engines, in sedan and station wagon bodies, but in a hybrid version.

Interior

The Mondeo interior update includes new fabric upholstery for the seats, new door handle inserts and new spear-shaped decorations, exclusive to the Titanium, ST-Line and Vignale versions. The interior construction quality has also been improved, with more perfect assemblies and finishes on the center console and instrument panel, providing a more premium feeling in a cabin that tends to be sporty.
