Fiat 500

Sustainable energy

The Fiat 500 Hybrid's engine is identical in the saloon and cabrio versions, in the case of a proposal that claims better behavior and optimization on the consumption side. In this sense, the Fiat 500 Hybrid features a mild-hybrid 1.0-liter gasoline engine with 70 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. These values are suitable for drivers who intend to use this version in urban environments. The Fiat 500 Hybrid's engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission, always constant and easy to handle. Regarding the fuel consumption of the Fiat 500 Hybrid, between 5.0 and 5.1 liters are consumed per 100 kilometers traveled and CO2 emissions vary between 114 and 116 g/km.

Thanks to the introduction of semi-hybrid technology, the 500 and 500C are not only more efficient, with lower CO2 emissions while driving, but also provide a more refined and relaxing driving experience. The semi-hybrid system assists acceleration to improve responsiveness and allows for a smoother and faster engine start during the Start&Stop phase. The semi-hybrid system charges automatically and does not need to be connected to the mains. The system recovers energy during deceleration and braking for trouble-free driving in and out of town, while providing ecological and economic benefits.
