With a plug-in hybrid system, the engine of the BMW i8 has already been awarded the title of engine of the year several times.
The BMW i8's hybrid engine charges its batteries via a rechargeable system powered by a 3-cylinder 1.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor.
The BMW i8 Coupé consumes 14 kWh per 100 kilometers or 1.8 litres/km of fuel consumption. The Roadster consumes a little more: 2 liters/km and 14.5 kWh per 100 kilometres.
It can be recharged at home or at one of the car battery charging stations that are increasingly present on the roads of Portugal.

Interior


The interior of the BMW i8 can be both leather and a combination of leather and fabric. The design inside the doors reflects the futuristic line that we see from the outside.
The center console is angled directly towards the driver to facilitate vehicle movement and control. Also to promote safer driving, there is the
side support and controls that are intuitively arranged. As well as safety, comfort is also important, the BMW i8 are equipped with electrically adjustable sports seats and LED interior lighting so you can find everything you need, even at night.
